ABA Services Offered

After the Comprehensive Behavioral and Skills Assessment (in-depth assessments to understand individual needs). and the report are completed, we create a program along with its corresponding digital binder. The program outlines how the intervention will be delivered and falls into one of the following models:

  • Sole Model: In this model, only a BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst) will work directly with the participant across the appropriate settings.
  • Tiered Model: In the tiered model, a BCBA customizes, creates, and supervises the programs that are delivered in each session by an assigned RBT (Registered Behavior Technician). Data, progress, and barriers to progress are continuously reviewed to make necessary program adjustments. The assigned BCBA collaborates with all team members to ensure the most effective programs and methodologies are being used.
  • Combination Model: In this model, both the BCBA and RBT provide direct services to the participant, working together to implement the intervention plan

Once the best service model for the participant is selected, the BCBA also select from the following will be selected to create a comprehensive service package:

  • Parent ABA Skills Developing Sessions: Sessions for parents to develop ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) skills.

Parent ABA Skills Development Sessions

  • Offered at least once a month or more often if needed and appropriates
  • Review of participant’s progress and barriers to progress
  • Address new behaviors and or concerns
  • Answer any questions about programs, expectations, and curriculum
  • Training on various modalities appropriate for the participant and the families with role-playing and feedback
  • Parental support
  • Weekly meeting review the implementation of the BALANCE program
  • Weekly meeting review the implementation of the SBT program
  • Review of resources within the STEPS, the insurance companies, and community

Group Parent ABA Skills Development Sessions

We provide the following services and support:

  • Monthly Sessions: Our monthly sessions encompass a wide range of topics pertinent to different stages of child development, behavioral change requirements, and other related subjects. These sessions are designed to provide valuable insights and support for parents and caregivers.
  • Parent and Whole Family Support: We recognize that a one-size-fits-all approach does not work for our families, who come from diverse backgrounds and have unique needs. Our training programs are tailored to provide intervention strategies that address the dynamic and varied needs of all our families. Additionally, we offer skills development opportunities that extend beyond parents to include the entire family, ensuring comprehensive support for everyone.
  • Prescheduled Sessions: These trainings are essential for behavior management and skill acquisition. To facilitate attendance, we schedule these sessions a quarter in advance. This allows families ample time to make the necessary arrangements to ensure their participation.
  • Transition Planning: We help plan for various transitions, including but not limited to schools, grade changes, changes in living situations, independent living, vocational transitions, service termination, and more.
  • Open Discussion: Our sessions encourage open discussions about both success stories and concerns

  • Specialized Feeding Programs: Tailored for individuals who are picky eaters.
  • Sleep Support Services: Assistance for those facing challenges with falling asleep, staying asleep, and managing problem behaviors at night.
  • Daytime Behavior Support: Offering help from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM for individuals experiencing aggression, property damage, or self-injury.
  • Teen Social Skills Groups: For ages 12-18, focusing on communication, life skills, executive functioning, and socialization.
  • Adult Autism Support: Emotional regulation, social communication, and skills support for working adults with Autism and other special abilities.
  • Expanded Early Learners & Intensive Programs: Facilitating a second group for early learners and accepting more participants in our SBT and PEAK programs
